A beautiful and aesthetic intergrown pair of lemony-cream transparent Calcite crystals from Rudny in the Kostanay Region of Kazakhstan. The large gemmy equant crystals are slightly rounded due to the crystal morphology, with very smooth surfaces, a waxy lustre and occasional displays of interference colours across the prism faces. The crystals are attached to a little mixed carbonate and sulphide matrix. A showy and most attractive Calcite.
