Bournonite has always been one of the more interesting of the common sulphides. Its unique morphology of the cogwheel shaped twinned crystals are very outspoken in this fine specimen. Both crystals are positioned so there is a clear view on the striated sides and the high mirror lustre is in sharp contrast with the matrix of the dull grey Freibergite. This is an excellent small cabinet specimen.
