This is a very famous specimen that has been illustrated numerous times in articles about Příbram mines. It dates from 1853 and back then belonged to the mine manager. The Bournonite crystal, at over 3.5 cm tall, is very large for Příbram and stands proudly from the Quartz-Siderite matrix. It is elongated along one axis but has excellent form, with sharp edges and nice grow lines on its surface. The Bournonite crystal has been reattached to the matrix during its life and we cannot be 100% sure it is in its original orientation but nevertheless it is a historically important specimen. It comes with several beautiful old handwritten labels. A stunning Příbram miniature. Ex Hans Engelbrecht collection.
