An excellent specimen of Tarnowitzite, the plumboan (lead-rich) variety of Aragonite, from the Touissit mining district in Jerada Province, Morocco. The creamy-white crystals are typically 1.5 cm tall by 1 cm across and have grown in near-parallel alignment out from a grey sulphide-rich tan coloured gossan matrix. The crystals are well developed with perfect terminations; have a high lustre and the specimen sits well, displaying the Tarnowitzite crystals as a near-vertical array.
