Zincolivenite was only named in 2007 to characterise an intermediate member within the continuous Adamite-Olivenite solid solution series. Its copper to zinc ratio ranges between 75:25 and 25:75 with Adamite and Olivenite siting out with these bounds. What used to be labelled as cuproadamite is now included within the valid range of Zincolivenite. On this small miniature, the Zincolivenite forms several fine equant curved crystals to 4 mm across, of leafy emerald green on a matrix of mixed grey sulphides, possibly Galena pseudomorphing after Mimetite. An excellent Zincolivenite from Tsumeb.
