Very lustrous, intergrown, deep apricot-orange blocky crystals of Wulfenite looking like chunks of delicious fudge are aggregated together upon a thin wedge of rock matrix and some massive white Calcite to form this lovely miniature specimen. This is the absolutely classic assemblage and Wulfenite crystal form known from Erupción Mine mine at Los Lamentos in Mexico, right down to the subtle sandwich-like colour zonation within the Wulfenite 'cubes'. Measuring to 1.7 cm across and some displaying unusual hopper development on crystal faces, and selective coating with brown minute crystals of Descloizite, these are really fine examples of this unusual 'blocky' cuboid form of Wulfenite, with exceptional resinous lustre. Ex Peter Rosewarne Collection.
