A choice and very rich group of butterscotch-toffee Wulfenite crystals envelope a largely hidden matrix of mixed colourless Smithsonite, Quartz and black Goethite. Wulfenite from Tsumeb takes on many habits and colours; in this example the tabular crystals are thick and stubby, with chisel-tipped edges and terminations. The largest crystal measures 1.4 x 1.4 x 0.5 cm. The crystals are preferentially coated from one direction by an uncharacterised mineral, probably only atoms thick so as not to mask the Wulfenite's colour, but sufficient to give a slight silver lustre.
