A stunningly aesthetic group of limey-apple-green Vesuvianite crystals with gemmy Diopside crystals richly scattered over their terminations from Jeffrey mine at Asbestos in Qu'bec. Three spectacular Vesuvianite crystals dominate the front of the specimen, each measuring to almost 5 cm with sharp pyramidal terminations. Their faces are glassy and transparent, revealing a translucent to opaque crazed interior. Many small well-terminated Vesuvianite crystals of the same colour surround the major crystals and sit on a granular matrix of green and mauve Vesuvianite, Richly scattered over the terminations are colourless gemmy, flat tabular Diopside crystals which just add to this already beautiful specimen.
