Tetrawickmanite is an extremely rare manganese tin hydroxide mineral, known from just a handful of localities and only ever as microcrystals. This miniature specimen is from the famous Långban area at Filipstad, Värmland, Sweden - a mecca for rare species. The Tetrawickmanite forms tiny yellow microcrystals in at least two small cavities. The grey metallic matrix has not been tested, but is probably Magnetite or Braunite. At some point the specimen has passed through the Rijksmuseum of Natural History indicating that its identification is sound.
