This is a rarely seen well-crystallized Quartz crystal aggregate from the important Stríbro (Mies) mines in the Plzen Region, Bohemia, Czech Republic. Forming a small cabinet-sized plate of glassy, white, pyramidal crystals distinctively showing no prism faces, it has the added interest of a cluster of glossy black Sphalerite crystals. The largest Quartz crystal extends to over 4.5 cm across and although there is some slight chipping to a couple of the crystal tips this is hardly noticeable because of their white colour and, besides, specimens of this quality are just never seen available from this locality. This rarity comes from the Hans Engelbrecht Collection, no. 649, and is an older piece.
