A particularly interesting specimen from the well-known Greystone Quarry near Callington in Cornwall. Sphalerite is perhaps one of the less common mineral species from this locality. The specimen comprises a well-defined, almost metallic grey crystal measuring 2.0 cm across as part of a group of slightly less well-developed Sphalerites, resting roughly central amidst a group of terminated white to clear Quartz crystals. A great little specimen that will compliment any collection from the locality.
