From one direction, the underlying ribs of a dark grey quartzite matrix are entirely coated with perfect equant Siderite blades of 3 to 4 mm wide, and completely intergrown to form delicate web. These are partly overgrown by 1 mm colourless Quartz crystals with a brilliant glassy lustre, causing the entire specimen to sparkle. The back face of the matrix is entirely covered with such crystals. Perched over the Siderite are four separate globular clusters of snow-white Quartz micro-crystals. A most aesthetic Siderite with Quartz from the P?'bram mining district in the Czech Republic.
