Wow, what a totally super little miniature of Dolomite coating lenticular Siderite crystals, from the P?'bram Mining District in the Central Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. This is one of those specimens which having taken a closer look hits you as something really quite fantastic and a little gem! Clove brown Siderite crystals form as flattened flying-saucer-like prisms averaging about 2 cm diameter and interlocked with one another at random angles. Around their rims is a uniform deposition of creamy micro-Dolomite crystals forming ermine-like fur edges and appearing like interlaced hoops. At one end is a small cluster of milky Quartz crystals. An enchanting miniature from P?'bram that will not disappoint.
