The Quartz crystals measure 6.5 and 8 cm tall and are surrounded by splayed hexagonal books of silvery Zinnwaldite mica crystals. Zinnwaldite nowadays described a mica series rather than an individual species. The smaller of the two Quartz crystals has one terminated face cleaved-off where the internal jet black (Morion) Quartz is visible.
