Rhodonite from the Chiurucu mine in Huánuco, Peru, is known for its remarkable 'glowing' bubble gum pink colour and splayed fans of bladed crystals. Although this bladed form is not typical of Rhodonite crystals in general, this material from Chiurucu really has become the most desirable and iconic form sought after by collectors. This beautiful miniature is off matrix and is an exceptional yet characteristic example from this mine. All terminations are undamaged and the colour is of the highest quality. A timeless classic that redefined the expectation of Rhodonite and boosted the reputation of manganese for producing beautiful specimens.
