A 3.5 cm long bipyramidal Amethyst crystal is perched on top of a white Quartz stem as a 'sceptre'. It comes from the Chiredzi mining district, at Masvingo, Zimbabwe where, in 2019, sceptred Quartz specimens started to appear but their supply was short-lived and gone almost by the next year. This very large miniature-sized specimen from this find is certainly not perfect in its overall balance, with the main crystal offset slightly, but it presents all of the classic traits and its Amethyst crystal is in very good condition with nice wispy purple colouration inside its translucent to transparent body.
