A divergent array of Quartz crystals from Mallnitz in the Seebach Valley, Carinthia, Austria, with excellent terminated crystals ranging from about 1.8 to 5.5 cm tall. All crystals are essentially colourless, but have chlorite inclusions giving them a greyish-green tinge. The prism faces taper in towards the somewhat complex terminations; probably a combination of Tessin habit prisms and Muzo habit terminations. The prism faces are horizontally striated and nearly all crystal faces have a frosted to semi-glassy lustre. Occasional faces are very slightly frosted but tend towards water-clear. A most attractive Quartz with many interesting habits.
