This unusually coloured and rare habit of Pyromorphite will surely appeal to the dedicated collector of this species because of its highly different characteristics. Enveloping a heavy core of Galena, creamy-buff Pyromorphite forms a drusy botryoidal coating intermixed with stubby terminated Quartz crystals averaging 5 to 7 mm diameter. The Pyromorphite has a fine velvety texture with a resultant matt lustre. The botryoidal druses are dusted with a pale apricot orange deposit of Pyromorphite which highlights the texture and surface morphology. A lovely specimen from Str'bro in the Plzen Region of the Czech Republic.
