Justifiably regarded as the source of Europe's finest Pyromorphite specimens, Les Farges mine at Ussel, Corrèze, Limousin, France has produced several distinct forms of Pyromorphite. The orange-brown seed-like, to hopper-shaped crystals are undeniably the finest and most desirable form, but its organic-looking green aggregates of moss-like crystals are significant too. This dense, miniature-sized specimen of the green variety is a very rich example and in very good condition, with well-formed hexagonal prismatic crystals branching out in all directions.
