Lustrous acid lime-green crystals of Pyromorphite richly coat the surface of a creamy-tan sandy limestone matrix. The Pyromorphite crystals are typically between 0.8 and 1.2 cm long and taper slightly towards their base. The flat pinacoid terminations are of two types; flat and naturally stippled and some hopper-like with a concave centre. From the Daoping Mine which works a hydrothermal lead-zinc deposit in Gongcheng County, China. This is an exquisite large-miniature of beautifully crystallised Pyromorphite.
