This superb specimen of Bunker Hill mine Pyromorphite combines dramatic size, sculptural form and rich intensity of colour. A lush intergrowth of sparkling crystal-faced botryoidal bright orange Pyromorphite mostly covers a linear light coloured matrix. Some areas present a second deposition of beige coloured Pyromorphite. This is a very fine specimen from the remarkable finds at this mine during the 1980s and, to the untrained eye, could be mistaken for the classic Campylite variety of Mimetite from Dry Gill in the Caldbeck Fells, England.
