A beautiful, ex-matrix, tower of stacked, double terminated barley sugar orange Pyromorphite crystals from Friedrichssegen mine at Fr'cht in the famous Bad Ems District of Rhineland-Palatinate. This old lead mine exploited siderite-bearing quartz veins which included Zn-Pb-Cu-Ag mineralisation. The lustrous and glassy Pyromorphite crystals average around 1 cm each in length, although all are below 2 cm. Note that the top crystal of one stack is a little damaged, but the specimen remains a very displayable example.
