A delightful Pyromorphite (lead chlorophosphate) from the famous vertical pipe structure within Bwlch Glas mine near to Talybont, in the county of Ceredigion, Wales. A long and attractive milky-Quartz matrix coated with micro-Quartz crystals and orange-tan iron staining is very richly coated over its top surface by delicate, micro-acicular sprays of Pyromorphite of yellowish-lime green. This is a very good and completely characteristic specimen for Bwlch Glas.
