This large cabinet specimen of Pyromorphite is magnificent, with perfectly formed and completely undamaged micro-crystals almost completely covering a 10 x 9 cm area of milky Quartz veinstone. The crystals are best studied under low magnification. They occur as spiky acicular clusters of opaque mossy green and form a moss-like surface of remarkably uniform colour. It’s a wonderfully large display specimen of superbly crystallised Pyromorphite from the Burgham mine in Shropshire; formerly part of the Mike Brooke Collection.
