A large thumbnail specimen of thick-set, stubby Pyromorphite crystals from the classic locality of the Bad Ems District of the Lahn Valley in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. Prisms range from about 0.5 to 1.5 cm tall and radiate out slightly while still maintaining a tight cluster. The prisms grade from dark chocolate brown to green tinged fawn, colours so typical of Bad Ems. The specimen comes with a Filer's Minerals (Yucaipa, California) card label.
