This superb Pyromorphite has that classy 'dense' feel to its richness. It is from the famous Chinese occurrence at Daoping mine in the early 2000s where some of the world's finest specimens of this wonderful secondary lead phosphate species were found. This extremely rich small cabinet specimen is almost entirely Pyromorphite with the upper display surface liberally covered in large (to 1 cm), classic hexagonal hopper-shaped prismatic Pyromorphite crystals of a classy lime-green to yellow-green colour with an exceptional waxy to resinous lustre. The crystals are translucent around the terminations, and the hopper-development is extremely fine. A wonderful Pyromorphite from this 'modern' classic occurrence. Ex Martin Zinn III collection with label (no. 7428).
