Bunker Hill mine holds legendary status amongst mineral collectors for one mineral - Pyromorphite. The discoveries made during the 1980s produced some of the world's finest crystallized specimens of this already highly collectible colourful lead-bearing species. This superb small cabinet display specimen is quite distinctive, comprising an almost pure aggregate of highly lustrous mustard-yellow to slightly orange-yellow coloured Pyromorphite crystals with prominent hoppered terminations. These excellent crystals of Pyromorphite reach an impressive 1.2 cm in length and form a fine freestanding array over the display face of the specimen, on a dark chocolate Goethite matrix. A stunning specimen from the mine with no damage of note.
