No recorded repairs
Shaft 366 serviced a section of the Alberoda uranium mining district in Saxony, Germany, although uranium minerals are not found in this section of the orebody. Although not prolific, Native Silver and some of its sulphosalts were found while developing the mine and this large thumbnail specimen is a mass of intergrown pseudohexagonal crystals with well defined prism faces and occasional flattened terminations. The surface of the entire specimen is altered through oxidation and exposure to light to a silver-lead-grey with a dull satin lustre, so masking the true blood-red colour of the Pyrargyrite. A rare and well formed Pyrargyrite from Shaft 366 at Alberoda.
