I defy anyone examining this Bolivian Native Silver not to shout Wow! It is stunning, spectacular and a feast for the eyes. A very rich bright display specimen of interwoven Native Silver wires pervade a large miniature/small cabinet specimen with metallic dark grey Acanthite and red-brown patches of Sphalerite. The specimen measures 6.3 cm across, yet to 8 cm along its maximum dimension. The sooty black Acanthite forms centres around which the thick Native Silver wires nucleate. The wires radiate out from these centres forming Medusa-like, writhing silver snakes; it is amazingly aesthetic. If you have or are building a collection of native elements, then this specimen from Porco in Bolivia will make a wonderful addition.
