A rare and unusual Native Silver pseudomorph after Pyrargyrite from the P?'bram mining district in Central Bohemia, Czech Republic. It cannot be denied, this is an ugly beauty, with globular spheroids, typically to 1 cm in diameter, of dull, sooty-grey Native Silver replacing former Pyrargyrite crystals. In odd patches the untarnished colour of the Native Silver emerges as dull silver areas. However, a secondary overgrowth of delicate dendritic Native Silver dusts many areas of the specimen, contributing to its overall aesthetic.
