This lovely small miniature wire Native Silver on matrix comes from a famous find dating to the late 1980s and early 1990s at Sarbai Deposit, Rudny, Kostanay Region, Kazakhstan. Reported upon in The Mineralogical Record in 1993, this short-lived discovery produced some delicate but beautiful Native Silver specimens. Many were off-matrix 'nests' of wires and matrix specimens rarely achieved above small miniature in size making this a really high quality piece. The balance between white Calcite matrix and bright silvery wire nest is excellent with the Native silver area extending to over 1.6 x 2 cm.
