Tresavean mine was a significant copper producer near the village of Lanner south of Redruth in Cornwall, but specimens of Native Copper are rarely seen from here. This lovely miniature specimen is a 7.1 cm long, hackly, slightly crystallized aggregate of pure Native Copper. It comes from Mike Brooke's collection of British minerals and prior to that was in Peter Maurer's collection.
