Arborescent branches of Native Copper partly coated and impregnated with 1 to 2 mm milky-grey granular Quartz. This specimen has been etched free of its host rock and has a metallic rosy-copper-orange patina. From the Broken Hill mining district of New South Wales, Australia, the branches are composed of intergrown Copper crystals, many of which show good crystal habits and are developed up to about 4 mm across. A good example of Native Copper from the classic mines of Broken Hill.
