A beautiful group of intergrown arborescent branches of crystallized Native Copper from Ogonja near to Seeis in the Windhoek District of Namibia. The specimen has an excellent natural patina of coppery milk chocolate, with odd small patches on some of the larger Copper crystals showing metallic copper with a slight iridescence. The 'stems' and 'branches' of the specimen are all typically about 1 mm wide and deep and are composed entirely of intergrown Copper crystals. These are excellent and seen to better advantage under low magnification. Within 1.5 cm of the top end of the specimen, the Copper crystals become larger and show complex, modified forms of the octahedron, with some crystals developing to about 6 mm across. This is an excellent Native Copper showing a delicate well-crystallized habit.
