Nagy'gite is a rare and complex lead-antimony-gold-tellurium sulphide and forms large bright silver crystallised sheets on the surface and throughout this small miniature from Baia de Arie? in Alba County, Romania. The coverage of Nagy'gite is exceptionally rich, with one plate measuring roughly 2.9 x 1.8 cm. The specimen is accompanied by two old labels, one Dr A. Krantz (Bonn) and both mention the presence of Sylvanite in association with the Nagy'gite. The Baia de Arie? district is the type locality for Sylvanite, a gold-silver telluride.
