Tsumeb mine is the classic world occurrence for Malachite pseudomorphs after perfect euhedral bladed Azurite crystals. This miniature specimen is a rather majestic sculptural display of two main bladed pseudomorphs in a V-like configuration. The original crystals of Azurite (of which there is now no trace) reach 3.5 cm in length and are very detailed, with sharply defined edges and slightly stepped sides with how the crystals have grown. A small amount of attached white to biscuit coloured Dolomite adds to its charm. This might not represent the largest example of these pseudomorphs from Tsumeb, but it is certainly an extremely classy one.
