A distinctive modern N'Chwaning mines assemblage. Two generations of yellow Jouravskite crystals occur with Oyelite/Xonolite (both species have been quoted from this assemblage, but I haven't seen definitive analytical data) and Bultfonteinite. Large (remarkably so for this species) deep sulphur-yellow Jouravskite crystals sit upon pale pink drusy Bultfonteinite with snow-white botryoids of Oyelite/Xonolite partially coated with smaller, pale yellow, gemmy Jouravskite crystals. This material reportedly came from a single find at N'Chwaning III mine in December 2016 although this is not formally documented with this specimen. Jouravskite is an Ettringite Group mineral known from just a handful of localities worldwide, and the recent discoveries at the N'Chwaning mines represent the finest crystalline specimens. Very few specimens of this quality are known.
