This is a rich specimen of Galena from Herodsfoot mine, where sulphides other than Tetrahedrite, Bournonite and Chalcopyrite are rarely seen for sale. Densely intergrown complex octahedral crystals with many complex modifications to their crystal faces, form on both sides of a ridge-like specimen with a late development of colourless Quartz crystals on one side.
