Elongated cubic Fluorite crystals, all roughly aligned with one corner pointing vertically, form a gentle mound of stepped, semi-parallel crystals. The Fluorite is almost completely coated by a sub-mm thick, yet pervasive, opaque film of micro-sucrosic Quartz crystals, masking the Fluorite in a creamy-white layer occasionally tinged burnt tan. The colour of the Fluorite can be best seen in the specimen's base , this being an almost colourless pale yellowish-green. From Erika mine at Säulnhof in the Wölsendorf Fluorite Mining District of Bavaria, Germany.
