Five lustrous, pale apple-green Fluorite crystals, all to about 1 cm on edge are perched across an L-shaped plate of glassy, sharp milky Quartz crystals, each around 5 mm tall. From the West Pasture mine at Stanhope in Weardale, County Durham, this is a highly attractive specimen and displays the subtle shades of green Fluorite for which this mine is famous. Please note: West Pasture Fluorites are best kept in a drawer rather than a display cabinet, as the Fluorite colour will fade over time when exposed to daylight.
