This is a really sweet and well-balanced large miniature piece aesthetically. The trio of Quartz, Fluorite and Muscovite with their contrasting colours and forms presents really well and is in excellent condition. The Fluorite is a lovely pale sea-green, the Muscovite golden, and Quartz the colourless variety known as Rock Crystal. Furthermore, all of these species are well-crystallized, the Fluorite appearing to be a complex spinel-twinned cubo-octahedron, the Quartz a pyramidal terminated prism and the Muscovite a 'book' of thin platy micaceous crystals. Additionally, a black prismatic Schorl crystal skewers into the Muscovite. It comes from the mountainous Skardu District in Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan where top quality Fluorite specimens are rare, and twins rarer still. Ex Arvid Pasto collection.
