A small cabinet specimen displaying well developed intergrown crystals of Fluorite from Greenlaws mine, Daddry Shield, County Durham, England. The gemmy to translucent Fluorite crystals are light pastel to acidic yellow and measure to 2.4 cm on edge. They are associated with cubo-octahedral crystals of metallic grey Galena. Both minerals having formed on a matrix of lustrous black, Sphalerite micro-crystals. The specimen is accompanied with a handwritten label in fountain pen ink yet no provenance.
