Xianghualing mine in Linwu County, Chenzhou Prefecture, Hunan Province is one of China's greatest Fluorite-specimen producing localities, with finds dating back to the 1990s and continuing right through to recent times. This lovely smaller display specimen shows one of its trademark crystal forms - extremely sharp-edged pale greenish-cream glassy cubes, with prominent darker green bands just inside the outer edge of the crystals. The largest crystal reaches 2.7 cm on edge. In extremely fine condition, there is only one very slight chip evident on a single crystal edge on the main display face. A sparse dusting of small, sparkling colourless to white Calcite crystals preferentially across one set of Fluorite crystal faces adds additional character. A really well-defined set of Fluorite crystals from Arvid Pasto's collection.
