This is a fine, and very rare specimen of Fluorite from Mikulov in the Ústí nad Labem Region in northern Czech Republic and is made extra special with the fine "V"-shaped aggregate of white bladed Baryte crystals sat on top. It really isn't very often that you see any mineral specimen from Mikulov, but this cabinet-sized pale amber-coloured Fluorite on Quartz, with Baryte overgrowth and minor Pyrite would look good from many, much more prolific mineral producing localities. Individually, the Fluorite crystals reach about 1 cm on edge, are very glassy, and in fine condition. The Baryte crystals form cockscomb aggregates of parallel bladed crystals and have an unusual sugary texture with sparse dustings of Pyrite microcrystals. A very fine Czech Fluorite.
