A very classy small cabinet specimen of this iconic form of Fluorite from Collada mine, La Collada mining area in the Asturias region of northern Spain. An excellent group of characteristic chamfered/bevelled edged lilac coloured Fluorite crystals to a very respectable 1.6 cm on edge sat upon contrasting white Calcite. The Fluorite cubes display the typical, and very desirable, La Collada darker purple 'crazed' chamfered edges with paler purple glassy interiors. At least one crystal also appears to display a blue phantom, as lines within the cube. There is some damage to the corner of one crystal on the main display surface, but it is not prominent and is reflected in the price. This specimen specifically comes from the 75 Level on Josefa-Veneros vein and dates back to an early find.
