This pale purple-grey pure crystal aggregate of intergrown cubes of Fluorite is from the famous Erika mine in the Wölsendorf Fluorite Mining District, Upper Palatinate, Bavaria, Germany. This is a rarer colour for Fluorite from this well-known German Fluorite locality which closed in 1973, with the shaft infilled a year later. The crystals reach a little over 1 cm on edge and show some slight rubbing along their edges, but is a nice example of this unusual colour in larger miniature size. The whole specimen is Fluorite with the rear and edges representing the cleaved surfaces where it was trimmed from a larger block. Ex Arvid Pasto Collection.
