This ex-matrix, opaque deep purple Fluorite crystal is a good example from Horn' Slavkov in the Karlovy Vary Region of Bohemia in the Czech Republic. Overall, the main crystal measures 2.2 x 1.8 x 1.6 cm and of this about half of the crystal has remaining prism faces with stepped corners and a small interpenetrant twin protruding from one edge. Covering the back half of this crystals is a secondary coating of micro-crystallised Zinnwaldite mica and tiny pink Fluorapatite forming hexagonal prisms. A delightful deep blackberry opaque Fluorite with a waxy lustre from Horn' Slavkov.
