This incredibly glassy, transparent, pale sea-green type of Fluorite in large cubic crystals with prominant bevelled edges is iconic to the Xianghuapu mine in Chenzhou Prefecture, Hunan Province, China. First found during the very earliest years of the 21st century this amazing form of Fluorite very much heralded the start of the flow of magnificent Fluorite specimens from China. Cabinet in size, this largely individual large cubic crystal presents a perfectly glassy three-sided corner featuring exceptional detail along its bevelled edges. These three edges, which reach over 8 cm in length, extend fully to their opposite corners but the rear of the crystal is missing. There is no matrix but another partial Fluorite crystal extends off from the rear of this crystal. A very fine display crystal of this classic Chinese form of Fluorite.
