An excellent specimen of Fluorite from the Ladywash mine, just north of the village of Eyam in Derbyshire. Intergrown Fluorite crystals measuring to 1.5 cm are heavily included with characteristic, sparkling brassy Chalcopyrite crystals. Ladywash mine exploited the Hucklow Edge veins and is one of the most famous mines in the county. The mine closed in 1979. This lovely miniature, rich in sulphide inclusions, is readily recognisable as from this part of the Derbyshire Peak District.
