Dal'negorsk, in the Far-Eastern Region, Russia has produced some of the world's finest Fluorite specimens, but these were mined many decades ago. The two main colours produced were green and ice clear, the latter being the more famous. Pure Fluorite should always be colourless, but this is invariably never the case, with natural impurities nearly always imparting a colour on crystals. This superb small cabinet, to very large miniature specimen, hosts at least 7 individual, colourless, cubic Fluorite crystals, reaching up to 1.1 cm across. These crystals are damage-free and impurity free. Fluorite specimens from Dal'negorsk are becoming harder to find and sharp cubic crystals are rarer still - complex modified rounded crystal being far more frequent. This is an excellent older Russian Fluorite.
