A classic, small cabinet-sized plate of intergrown, intense green, octahedral Fluorite crystals from Riemvasmaak in South Africa. In reality the Fluorite crystals are mostly pyramidal - growing upwards in one direction from a thin base, but they are very sharp, with a fine distinctive waxy to satin lustre. The colour is quite distinctive too, and, combined with the crystal form, leaps out as from Riemvasmaak. The specimen is in great condition, and with the individual crystals reaching 3 cm across it is quite a showy piece.
